The Chairman of the Notary Chamber of Georgia met with President of the High Council of French Notariat

The Chairman of the Notary Chamber of Georgia, Ms. Marika Gogoladze met with the President of the High Council of French Notariat, Mr. Didier Coiffard.

Ms. Marika Gogoladze attends the General Meeting of the General Council of the International Union of Notaries and Member Notariats in Cancun, Mexico and participates in the work of the meetings.

The French side expressed the desire to hold the meeting. The Chairman of of the High Council of French Notariat was interested in the connection of Blockchain with the notary acts and online notary service. The Chairman of the Notary Chamber of Georgia informed him in detail about the achievements of Georgian Notariat and the reforms carried out in recent years. Georgia is still the only country in the world where the notary acts are fulfilled online that is a great comfort for Georgian citizens.

Mr. Didier Coiffard talked about the importance of electronic signatures in notary proceedings and stated that the majority of notaries in France already use this service. It should be noted that the Notary Chamber also intends to introduce electronic signatures in the notary system, which will also simplify the notary service.

For sharing the experience, the Chairman of the High Council of French Notariat invited his Georgian colleague in France. Ms. Marika Gogoladze gave the medallion with the shape of the Logo of the Notary Chamber of Georgia to Mr. Didier Coiffard.
