Legislative Amendments were discussed in the Notary Chamber of Georgia

The amendments made to the Law of Georgia on “Ownership of Agricultural Land” were discussed in the Notary Chamber of Georgia.

According to the legislative amendments, the paragraph under which a foreigner, legal entity registered abroad and legal entity registered by a foreigner in Georgia had an ownership right of agricultural land, has been suspended.   

The meeting that was attended by the members of the Board of Notary Chamber together with other notaries, was held at the initiative of the Chairman of the Board of Chamber, Ms. Marika Gogoladze. The notaries discussed what would be changed in the successive proceedings based upon the legislative amendments, namely when issuing succession certificate and they agree on general positions.
