Marika Gogoladze visited the acting notaries in Khashuri Municipality

The Chairman of the Board of the Notary Chamber of Georgia, Ms. Marika Gogoladze visited the notaries in Khashuri municipality.

They talked about the involvement of mediator notaries in the simplification process of agricultural lands registration. Within the Law of Georgia “On the Improvement of Cadastral Data and the Procedure for Systematic and Sporadic Registration of Rights to Plots of Land within the Framework of the State Project”, the settlement of disputes on agricultural lands is carried out by the mediator notaries. This service is free.

The citizens, including the residents of Khashuri, actively apply to the mediator notaries. Since the enactment of the Law, more than 350 disputes were settled by agreement from August 1, 2016.

The notaries shall provide on-site services to the population of 12 villages (Manglisi, Jimiti, Arboshiki, Arkhiloskalo, Salkhino, Karaleti, Zaridzeebi, Vedidkari, Lakhamula, Saguramo, Mzisguli, Shuakhevi) that shall significantly simplify and accelerate the land registration programme.
