Notary Office opened in Khobi

The newly appointed notary in Khobi Municipality has performed the first notary act. The member of the Board of Notary Chamber, Mr. Merab Parjikia visited the newly opened notary office and promised the notary to be supported from the Chamber as much as possible.

Under the Order of the Minister of Justice of Georgia, the notary was appointed on 10^th day of July this year in Khobi Municipality. Former notary has resigned from March 2017 due to pension age.

Notary services are still available for local population. As a result of the notary reform initiated in 2014, the notaries shall be appointed under the obligatory rules for three year term in mountainous settlements and municipalities where notary service is not properly available. For today, the notary offices operate in almost every settlement and municipality of Georgia.
