Action: “Free Legal Advice” continues

Today, the member of the Board of Notary Chamber, Mr. Merab Parjikia and local notaries met the population at the Public Center of Orsantia.

The notaries introduced to the local population their rights and obligations during signing the deal and receiving the inheritance, what should they know not to incur losses, not lose their property, how to protect their rights and etc. The population would get legal advices on other interesting issues as well.

The purpose of this action is to increase the legal awareness of the population. One of the main reasons of property loss, damage as a result of transactions is the lack of knowledge and in often cases, elementary unawareness of legal issues. The Citizens don’t often know what rights they have to inheritance, how and in what period they must receive a succession certificate, which contract is better to sign to ensure that their property is protected, what property rights they have during the marriage or divorce ...

The action started on July 14 and would last until October and cover almost all municipalities of Georgia. The residents of Kobuleti, Chakvi, Gurjaani, Lagodekhi, Tetritskaro, Gardabani, Akhaltsikhe, Tskaltubo, Gori and Ozurgeti have already received legal consultations.
