Chairman of the Board of the Notary Chamber met the newly appointed notary in Borjomi

The Chairman of the Board of the Notary Chamber of Georgia, Ms. Marika Gogoladze met with the notary appointed under the notary reform in Borjomi and got acquainted with her work on site.

The notary reform started by the initiative of the Minister of Justice of Georgia was successful implemented. The notary service is now available on the entire territory of Georgia. As a result of this reform, the notaries were appointed in municipalities and settlements where there were no notary services available. They shall serve the local population for three years.

The second notary in Borjomi was appointed upon the request of the population last year that made the notary services more available for the local population.

The Notary Ms. Olga Giorgadze talked to the Chairman of the Chamber Board about actual notary services, including notary mediation. The population of the municipality actively applies to this service. About 46 persons applied to the notary in Borjomi to settle the dispute on the agricultural land. In 19 cases, the dispute ended with agreement.
