VANI AND ASPINDZA WILL HAVE OWN NOTARIES

According to the decree of the Minister of Justice notaries have been appointed at the Vani and Aspindza Regions. These are the regions, where a notary bureau did not operate for years and the local population had to go to neighbor regions for notary service, which was related to additional expenses.

Up to fifty citizens a day use free legal notary consultation. Notaries used to deliver free consultations to citizens even before, but since February, 22014, it acquired a systematic character.

Every day except for the weekend from 14:00 to 15:00 o’clock citizens call to 2000778 and get legal advices from notaries. Telephone calls are replied consistently as the given number is answered by several notaries.

More and more customers use online notary service each year. This year 12482 powers of attorney and statement have been notarized by the internet.

The given data significantly exceed the statistical data of the last years. In 2013 for the same period of time 9714 notary acts were notarized in online mode, in 2012 – 7826 notary acts.

The Minister of Justice of Georgia, Ms. Tea Tsulukiani has met with the members of the Notary Chamber today and talked about the concept and reform of Notariat development. The meeting was held in Kvareli Branch of the Training Center of the Justice of Georgia.

Today the delegation of the Justice Academy of Turkey visited the Notary Chamber of Georgia. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Training Center of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia.
