Today the Training Center of the Notary Chamber of Georgia hosted delegation of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ). GIZ representatives visited the Notary Chamber of Georgia on the 30th of June, met members of the Board and visited notary bureaus as well.

On the 30th of June there was a presentation of the brand of the Notary Chamber of Georgia and the concept of notariat development held out at the Hotel “Radisson Blu Iveria”. The Minister of Justice introduced the new President of the Notary Chamber of Georgia to participants: members of the Notary Chamber of Georgia, head of services of the Ministry of Justice, members of the judicial power, lawyers, representatives of the financial circles.

German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) visited the Notary Chamber of Georgia. For three days members of the GIZ delegation (GIZ Programs Director, Vice-President of the Notary Chamber of Germany and a notary) will examine the notary system in Georgia, activity of the Notary Chamber of Georgia.

Newly appointed notaries are attending workshops in notary mediation.

The workshops are carried out by the “Georgian Mediation Center” together with a Polish expert Mediator Machei Tanski. Notaries will pass a stage-by-stage training.

Today the President of the Notary Chamber of Georgia Nino Khopheria met notaries newly appointed in regions.

According to the Decree of the Minister of Justice only in two months seven notaries were appointed in Georgian regions and towns, where notary service was unavailable or insufficient for the local population for proper service.
