The Legal Consequences of Enforcement Order was discussed at the Special Meeting February 21, 2017 The offsite work meeting was held in Telavi among the representatives of Notary Chamber of Georgia, Tbilisi Court of Appeals and the National Bureau of Enforcement. The parties discussed the legal consequences of the enforcement order issued by a Notary during the court proceedings. A notary was granted the authority to issue an enforcement order since 2009, but the notary issued it only upon the pledge or mortgage agreements until 2012. In 2012, the competence of the notary increased and he/she had the right to issue an enforcement order on the basis of any contract related to the financial obligations. If a contract is concluded in the Notary, the condition of issuing the enforcement order is included in the agreement upon the consent of both parties. |
