The meeting with the representatives of the Banking Sector was held in the Notary Chamber at the initiative of the Head of the Notary Chamber of Georgia.

The Notary reform started three years ago by the Minister of Justice of Georgia turned out to be successful. Notary service is currently available in almost all municipalities and settlements of Georgia. Population are able to receive the notary services without extra time and expenses. The Notary Chamber supports the notaries appointed in municipalities and settlements as far as possible in effectively implementing the notary activities.

The Chairman of the Notary Chamber of Georgia, Ms. Marika Gogoladze met with the notaries of Imereti region and introduced the novelties planned in the notarial system. The Notary Chamber works to change the technical rules for drawing up and binding documents as a result of which the notary documents will be more protected.

The presentation was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Justice, LEPLs of the Ministry, Courts, Lawyers, High Educational Institutions and Interpreters in the Exhibition Gallery of the National Archives of Georgia.

The Notary Chamber of Georgia started a project in 2015 that aimed to translate the European literature in relation to the Notariat into the Georgian language.

The Notary Chamber of Georgia starts the documents acceptance for the applicants wishing to pass the training course of assistant notary. The number of applicants for the course is determined by 50 candidates.  The number of candidates in a group must not exceed 25 applicants. The training course will be provided for the groups according to the sequence of applications registration. The first group will start the training on October 16. The candidates registered in the second group will be sent the information via e-mail.
