The final examination of the interns wishing to hold office as a notary was held
The final examination of interns wishing to hold office as a notary was held at the Training Center of Notary Chamber of Georgia.
The interns have already passed the theoretical course of internship at the Training Center. The interns wishing to hold office as a notary have studied both notary and related legislation; they have also mastered the effective skills of service. After successfully passing the final examination, they will undergo the practical training in the notary offices and different state agencies (National Agency of Public Registry, Public Service Development Agency, National Bureau of Enforcement, Service Agency).
Passing internship at the Training Center of Notary Chamber is one of the essential conditions to become a notary. As a result of notary reforms carried out by the Ministry of Justice in December 2015, the notary candidates will be appointed in the municipalities and settlements where the notary service is still inaccessible. Since the beginning of the reforms to present, there remain several such municipalities in Georgia. Under the Order of the Minister of Justice, the notaries have already been appointed in 17 municipalities. They will serve the local population for three years.
