The Georgian Notaries will be introduced the Succession Law of European Countries

The compulsory workshop on the theme “International Succession” will be held for the notaries organized by the Training Center of the Notary Chamber of Georgia. 

The Georgian Notaries will be introduced the Succession Law of European Countries. Succession proceeding is one of the exclusive functions for the notary. Succession Certificate is a necessary document for the reception of inherited property into possession that is issued only by a notary. In this regard, the introduction of European legislation is very important for the development of the Georgian Notary.

The Notary Chamber of Georgia is one of the active members of International Union of Notaries since 2007. The long-term collaboration with the European Countries contributes to the improvement of Georgian Law. The European regulations are translated into Georgian.

The Training Center of the Notary Chamber constantly provides the qualification and professional development of the notaries and notary office staff. Workshops are held regularly for the improvement of notary services, increasing its efficiency.
