11 persons have successfully passed the internship at the Training Center of the Notary Chamber of Georgia. They have a chance to be appointed as notaries in the settlements and municipalities where the notary service is not yet available and they will serve the local population within three years.
As a result of the reform started in 2015 by the Minister of Justice of Georgia, the notaries are appointed for three years in the municipalities where there is no notary service available. Soon the notary services will be available for all citizens living on the territory of Georgia. The Notary Chamber of Georgia provides the financial and material assistance for the newly-appointed notaries.
Passing internship in the Training Center of the Notary Chamber is one of the compulsory conditions for holding the notary's position. The length of the Internship is eight months and includes the theoretical and practical training. The interns study the legislation, effective service skills related to the notary and notary activities in the theoretical part and pass the practical training in the different state agencies (National Agency of Public Registry, Public Service Development Agency, National Bureau of Enforcement, Service Agency ...).
After the completion of the course, the interns thoroughly possess the theoretical knowledge and the practical skills necessary for the notary activities.
