Mestia Population has obtained the Notary services at place

The Notary Chamber of Georgia continues the campaign initiated by the Minister of Justice for the purpose of increasing the notary services. Notaries shall carry out notarial activities in Mestia as well.

The Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Notary Chamber, Marika Gogoladze and the Notary Tika Rurua met the local population in the municipality premises and provided them the notary services at place.

Mestia Municipality has no notary since 2006.  The local residents have to go to Zugdidi and Kutaisi for obtaining the notary services. Before appointing the Notary in Mestia, the notaries will periodically arrive there from the nearest towns and carry out the notarial activities at place.

As the local population noted, such actions are necessary for mountainous regions, Mestia population will not have to bear additional costs.
