From now the Notary will serve in Oni Municipality once a week
Oni municipality is still left without a notary, that’s why the notary acting in Ambrolauri will perform mobile notary services in Oni. The local residents will be able to obtain the notary services once a week (on Thursdays) at the municipality.
The campaign at the initiative of the Minister of Justice of Georgia to enhance the notary service availability started since 2013. Last December, the legislative changes came into effect according to which it became mandatory to appoint notaries for three-year terms in the municipalities remaining without a notary. The Minister of Justice has already appointed the notaries in six such municipalities.
In addition, the rural population are provided the notary services in the public centers since last year. Kvareltskali (Akhmeta Municipality), Mejvriskhevi (Gori Municipality), Mukhaestate (Kobuleti Municipality), Foka (Ninotsminda Municipality), Jvari (Tsalenjikha Municipality), Martkophi (Gardabani Municipality), Kabala (Lagodekhi Municipality), Geguti (Tskaltubo Municipality) – these are the villages where citizens already enjoy the notary services.
