Seminar for notaries

The seminar on "Protection of Personal Data" was held for notaries with the organization of Training Center of Notary Chamber of Georgia.

The main issue of the seminar was the importance of the protection of personal data and legal mechanisms.

Notaries were given recommendations on processing the particular category of data (for example, the data of racial or ethnic origin, certificate on conviction, etc.), fingerprints, DNA code and other biometric data and transferring such data to other State or International Organization.

The representative of Personal Data Protection Inspector's Office at the Seminar informed the notaries about amendments made to the domestic and international law regulating the protection of personal data.

Training Center of Notary Chamber constantly provides the upgrading of professional skills of notaries and the notary office staff. Similar seminars promote to raise the qualification of notaries and increase the efficiency of public services.
