Notary Office Started Operating in Keda, after three-year pause
The Minister of Justice of Georgia appointed a Notary in Keda on January 22, 2016. From today, the Notary Office started operating and the population will be provided all services in place.
Since 2013, the residents of Keda had to go to Shuakhevi and Batumi for obtaining the notary services that was connected to the additional expenses.
As a result of legislative reforms in December, Notaries shall have to serve the mountainous settlements and municipalities for three years under the mandatory rules. The Notary Chamber shall support the newly appointed notaries in carrying out notary activities, assist financially, equip the notary office with the necessary amenities and technical base. Consequently, the population of the mountainous region shall be provided as excellent services as in the big cities.
