“Practical Guide for Notaries” will be available electronically

Notary Chamber of Georgia completed its work on "Practical Guide for Notaries". The part of this Guide has been already posted on the website of the Chamber and soon the full electronic version of it will be available for consumers. 

“Practical Guide for Notaries” contains the explanation of instructions "On the Rule of Performing Notary Acts" that will simplify for notaries the implementation of established norms by the Law in practice.  

The goal of creating this Guide is to avoid different understanding of instruction norms and to establish a common practice in performing the notary activities.

The project was implemented with the support of GIZ. The development of this Guide began in 2014 and the Representatives of the Ministry of Justice were actively involved in this process.

Last year, the Notary Chamber introduced the project "Practical Guide for Notaries" to the notary system-related agencies and considered their views as well.
