Business meeting of the Representatives of the Notary Chamber and Bar Association

The Business meeting of the representatives of the Notary Chamber and Bar Association has been held at the Hotel “Tbilisi Marriott” today. 

There were issues related to the succession matters discussed at the meeting. The parties discussed certain problems which were common both in the notary activities and advocacy. Accordingly, there were selected the practicing lawyers who were actively involved in the matters of succession.

The goal of the meeting was to outline the problems and sum up a common practice in succession matters which made easier for the citizens to be provided with services related to the succession.

The Certificate of Succession is a necessary document to accept the inherited property into the ownership. This document is issued only by the Notary. Accordingly, the acceptance of succession is one of the most active notary services.

The Notary Chamber frequently organizes meetings with the representatives of those agencies who are actively involved in the activities of the notary. This significantly supports the improvement and simplification of notary service.
