The Chairman of the Notary Chamber participates in the International Conference

The Chairman of the Notary Chamber of Georgia, Ms. Nino Khoperia participates in the Conference held in Barcelona under the aegidis of International Union of Notaries. 

Ms. Nino Khoperia, as a Member of European Affairs Commission of the International Union of Notaries, is actively involved in conferences and meetings held by the Union.

The planned conference in Barcelona on 20-21 November is dedicated to the Legal Mechanisms for protecting the vulnerable persons.   

It should be noted that the significant amendments have been introduced into the Georgian Legislation this year and on its basis a new approach for individuals with psychosocial disorders was implemented. At this stage, the experience of European countries, introduction of legislative novelties is very important for Georgia.

The Notary Chamber of Georgia, as a member of International Union of Notaries since 2007, actively participates in the international arrangements and is included in World Notariat Network. The Notary Chamber of Georgia announced the initiative of the Minister of Justice of Georgia about the readiness of Georgian Notariat to join the Council of the Notariats of the European Union at one of the meetings of the Members of the International Union of Notaries held in Rio de Janeiro on October 2015. Sharing of and systematic acquaintance with experiences and reforms of European countries is very important for the development of the Notariat in Georgia.
