Qatar delegation acquainted with achievements of Georgian notariat

Delegation of the Ministry of Justice of Qatar visited the notary bureaus. The Chairman of the Board of the Notary Chamber of Georgia Nino Khoperia acquainted the guests with the achievements  and reforms performed in the Georgian notariat.

Electronic management, being introduced in Georgia since 2008 year was very interesting for the members of delegation. All notary acts are registered in electronic registry. Moreover, notarized documents maintained in archives, are also entered in electronic registry. Georgia is one of the innovator countries in the view of on-line services. On-line notarization of Powers of Attorney, Consents, Statements is available only in Georgia. On-line services were introduced in Georgian for the aim of simplifying the notary services. Now it is far simpler for Georgian citizens, especially those living abroad, to notarize the Power of Attorney or Statement. They no more need to apply to the consulate and get simpler and cheaper notary services.

Visitors attended the process of performing the notary act at the notary bureau of Nata Grdzelishvili.

Delegation of Qatar arrived in Georgia on May 17, 2015 and acquainted with successful reforms introduced in the system of the Ministry of Justice.
