40 persons will pass the preparation course for notary assistants

Preparation course for notary assistants commenced at the Training Center of the Notary Chamber of Georgia. 40 persons possessing diplomas of higher education will pass 2-months training.

Having finished the said courses they will have a real chance to be employed at the notary bureaus. Data of the persons having successfully passed the course will be entered in the electronic database of notary assistants at  the web-site of the Chamber and afterwards notary will select the desired candidate from the said database.

Preparation of notary assistants at the Training Center of the Chamber has begun since 2012. 14 assistants out of 20 have already been employed; currently 6 of them are still working at the notary bureaus.

The main priority of the Notary Chamber is the introduction of services meeting the latest standards in notary bureaus. It is planned to carry out certain measures for improving the notary service in 2015. Preparation of notary assistants also serves to this aim. 2 months course includes theoretical, as well as practical trainings. Course graduates have been trained in Notary legislation, rules of performing notary acts, technical matters, as well as standards of efficient service of citizens.
