THE NOTARY CHAMBER HOLDS OUT A SEMINAR FOR FUTURE CONSULS

The President of the Notary Chamber of Georgia Nino Khopheria carries out a seminar for future consuls, employees of diplomatic representations of Georgia abroad. This is a three-day training, which includes legal and technical issues related to performance of notary actions.

According to the Law of Georgia “On Notariat” several notary actions (e.g. certification of the last will, contract, power of attorney, authenticity of a signature) can be performed by diplomatic representatives and duly authorized persons in Georgian consulates abroad. They are given the right to perform notary action only if they have an access to the electronic Notary Register.

Therefore the training course passed in the Notary Chamber will help future consuls to implement consular activity.
