REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NOTARY CHAMBER OF GEORGIA LAID FLOWERS TO THE MEMORIAL OF THE 9TH OF APRIL

Representatives of the Notary Chamber of Georgia showed regard to heroes lost for independence of Georgia on the 9^th of April, 1989, and laid flowers to the Memorial of the 9^th of April in Shota Rustaveli Avenue.

25 years have passed since the tragedy of the 9th of April, 1989, when in the Rustaveli Avenue, in front of the then Government House, riot police of the Soviet Union dispersed a peaceful demonstration. 21 people fell victims to independence and freedom of Georgia.

On the 9^th of April, 1991, this day was proclaimed as the day of restoration of the state independence of Georgia.
